Freshly Baked Pies

Pies have always held a special place in our lives. While they seem to be a difficult dessert to make, they are actually quite easy to bake.  They are amazing creations.  All pies start with a crust of some kind at the bottom.  These can be traditional flour crusts, they can be graham cracker and butter crusts, Oreo cookie crusts or any other concoction designed to keep the pie off of the pan.  Only your imagination stops you from coming up with fillings, although fruit fillings tend to be the most popular.  The upper crust for both taste and decoration.  It can also be a traditional flour crust, whipped cream, meringue or other fun toppings.
